I savoured this story about the baby elephant that was saved by locals when he fell in a hole and could not right himself nor get out of the hole. Not only did the community join together to save a fellow sentient being, but the mother stood by watching and waiting for her baby. Acts of human kindness towards the 'least of these' give me hope.

ohhh.. so glad they got it! I love elephants and they are so smart and loving.. Your piece captures that spirit well. (I did an illo once about the "graveyards".)
