This is so spooky and such an evocative image. I'm afraid my first thought was of singer/songwriter Kirsty MacColl, who was tragically killed by a sneaky illegal powerboat driver. That doesn't detract though - this is a powerful image with an evident story to tell. Your limited colour choices are also perfect.

Made me think of someone doing something behind your back to kill your thoughts or dreams for some reason.. also the phrase " dead in the water" being such a common one ; this image is evocative and on so many levels!
