Illustration Friday: Rescue

If you have been reading my blog you already know that I rescued two greyhounds, Georgia the brindle grey and Beatrix the red fawn grey. They both raced down in Florida; a state full of racetracks sad to say. But luckily there are some fantastic groups such as the one I got both my greys from that go down and rescue greyhounds off the tracks. Greyhounds are extraordinarily gentle, sweet and loving dogs that love a good couch and a nice treat. Mine happen to not have any prey drive, but it is an issue with some due to the way they were trained. If you are looking for a 45 mile per hour couch potato look no further than a greyhound. Rescue a dog and you'll have a friend for life.

Your greyhounds are cute! They look comfortable laying on the couch.

awwww, they are so sweet, a friend of ours rescued a greyhound and she is such a baby. She lives on her favorite chair. So I guess Gracie is a chair potato.

Your greyhounds are sooooo cute. And the sketches make them look so lazy and happy. Lovely illustrations.
