beautiful illustration!!!it is so sad. my friend runs a rescue in TN www.aplacetobark.com and she has so many dogs that she helps. All our pets are rescues too!
I love the drawing and the idea. Shelter animals break my heart.
It is heart breaking isn't it.... that where I got my new girl Maggie.Border collie/sheltie mix.... I wish I could have taken them all!
I couldn't agree more, Sheree! It makes me sad too, I wish I could adopt them all!Everyone should get a shelter animal...
Lovely drawing and I like how the lettering continues on as part of her hair. It makes me sad too. Sometimes I dream of having a huge farm where I can house all the animals I see for adoption and in shelters. We have to cats that are rescued. :)
Since my move, Cookie and I met so many rescue dogs in our new dog park. All apt. dogs and small, I didn't know that shelter dogs could be small. My next dog will be a rescue, with your help (I hope). Hey, it's great to see you back doing IF. : )
rescue dogs make the best of friends! it makes me sad too that there are so many sad animal souls waiting for adoption.
sniff, how sad I had to go hug my little fur-balls-of-joy, all rescues, they're the best! (great illustration by the by).
Thanks for the post. You never know... maybe our dreams will come true and we'll be commenting on each others animal rescue blog some day. ;)
Beautiful illo. It's sad that a slow economy has such a negative impact on pets. :(
