So last year I dug up some daffodils, stuck them in a zip lock bag and stored them in a cool dry place in the basement. This is what I found last month....they already sprouted. Needless to say, I took them above ground and planted them in a pot. Unfortunately they have yet to bloom unlike all the other daffodils in the garden.

The sprouting zip-lock baggy reminds me of something I found in my fridge once... I think it was garlic. lol
