Zucchini

This is what I found hiding in my garden today. I knew I had some tiny zucchini, but it wasn't until I got down on the ground that I noticed a 13 1/2" zucc. nestled (and hiding I might add) in the large leaves! Guess what's for dinner? :)

For a hilarious look at zucchini, go here to see Heidi comparing a zucchini to her dachshund, Cookie, and various other items.

Oh, that is one amazing zuchini! And the one of your friend Heidi is downright incredible! Almost as big as her dachshund! You both certainly have a green thumb... :-)

Ha! We had 24" zucchinis last year. When the get that big the core is woody. Just split the zuke down the center and core it. I usually chop it up and stew it with tomatoes, fresh garlic, oregano and salt and pepper. :)
