Day 19 of 21 Days

Obviously I can't stop drawing my dog...I tried color again with pastels --- Mary Cassatt makes it look so easy...sigh...

The last two are my favorites b/c occasionally Georgia sleeps on her back with her legs in the air and it looks so funny due to those severely long and gangly legs. Unfortunately she did not hold that position for very long hence the gestural quality of the drawings.

Don't you just love the way dogs and cats sleep? Georgia is a great subject for drawing, with her long legs and elegant posture. Your lines are very confident and just right, no matter what medium you use.

Love the reclining belly-up dog poses. Hard to capture indeed!

These are great! I really like the profile in the second image from the top. It has a kind of Egyptian/regal feel to it.
And dogs sleeping on their backs! Leo does it all the time! Just ADORABLE!
:D
