Day 10 of 21 days

So this is it for tonight...ballpoint pen on cardboard...i know, real classy - hahaha.

We had to give Georgia a bath tonight - imagine trying to bathe a 60 lb. greyhound in an 85 year old claw foot bathtub with one person (me) standing on the edge of the very rounded tub trying to work the shower head (no modern conveniences here) while the person below is trying to simultaneously wash off the soap and keep her from jumping out. Did I mention that when she is in the tub she refuses to stand, but will gladly lean her entire weight against you crushing you in a wet sea of dog fur and soap.

Hehe! I know what you are talking about. Bathing our dog Pampa is almost an impossible mission!
I would like seeing an illustration of this bath moment :)
don't hate me, it would be hilarious!

He, he.. oh I know.. and they start trembling and shaking.. I have to make sure Nina's water is really warm if not she gets shivering.

And the afterwards is the best part.. you know, the part where they start running like crazy because the are wet :o)

That said, there is nothing quite like a nice CLEAN greyhound or any dog for that matter.

It's so true! We are giving Constance a bath this Saturday, and even though she's only 34 pounds it's not easy. :-) And she does the running around part too!
Lovely drawing as usual!
