Georgia's first snow

We had quite a bit of snowfall here in New York and as Georgia is a retired racer from Florida she did not know what to make of this crunchy white powder. She hopped, jumped, chattered her teeth and dragged me through the snow with a swiftness only a greyhound can muster. Overall it was a pretty humorous morning, but I could tell she was glad to be back inside....

Awww how cute! I wonder what she thought of that?
So, is she on your sofas already? She will go eventually. That is their favorite sport, sleeping on warm and soft cushioned places :o)
She is very lucky to have fund you!

What a wonderful long nose! Love those hound-dog traits. She's so cute.

I agree with her: snow is great, when you see it from the window of a heated and comfortable room.

Congratulations. I think Georgia is going to have a very happy life with you.
Here in Spain, the lives of these dogs is very difficult. Thank goodness there are people like you also give them a second chance.
Sincerely, very beautiful your blog
