Greyhounds are the fastest dog, except when they are power napping on the couch. (Quick pencil drawing of my greyhound, Georgia, sleeping on her back with legs in the air like she just don't care).

Illustration Friday: Frozen

Peggy, the small pit bull mix was frozen in fear as she waited for the mean caretaker at the no-kill shelter to decide whether she had the right to live or die.

Unfortunately this is a real dog at my local NO-KILL shelter. The man in charge of the dogs is a male chauvinist who cares very little for the dogs and the President of the shelter does nothing but stand by this idiot. I have been absolutely horrified and devastated by the actions of this shelter; or should I say the non-actions with regard to the dogs in their care.
