You Make My Day

I received the "You Make My Day" award from the amazingly talented Kelly Medina which, in turn, made my day! I compare it to winning the Blue Ribbon for best chili in all of Texas contest (and if you know anything about Texas that there is a big deal)!

"You make my day-Award" works like this:
1. Write a post with links to 5 blogs that make me think and/or make my day.
2. Acknowledge the post of the award giver.
3. Display the "You Make my Day Award" logo with a link to the post that I wrote. (Optional)
4. Tell the award winners that they have won by commenting on their blogs with the news.

Illustration Friday: Tales & Legends

Not only does the Bird of Paradise cut a mean rug, but legend has it that if a human is caught in the forests of Papua New Guinea during a monsoon they will obligingly fluff their feathers to form a beautifully enchanting umbrella.

We Moved

So we packed up the critters and moved to bigger digs --- it's been quite an ordeal and I have missed contributing to Illustration Friday (and having internet connection!) but I'm back and will be happily boring any lurkers out there.

Illustration friday: 100%

I had this vague idea to do some sort of 100% cruelty free products illo and this is what ended up happening...not sure if it really gets the point across.

For those interested in cruelty free products, Target carries 7th generation cleaning supplies --- I especially like the lavender scented washing up liquid.
